Vstudio 2022 Can not open importmaps

I am a totally newbie. Just installed yesterday Ultimate. It is version 25.1.0.472
According to the way described in help I tried to select maps with mp4 files in it.
A few made with corel screen capture. I wan to edit them.
But when I click on the map, the button OK stays black
The same happens with maps with photos in it.

Must say I use Dutch version.
This says the help:
Digitale media importeren
1Klik in de werkruimte Vastleggen op Digitale media importeren.
2Klik op Selecteer te importeren bronmappen, blader naar mappen met uw digitale media en klik op OK.

Searched on the forum but did not find a solution.

I believe you may be using the wrong method, though I am not totally sure because I don't quite understand when you say you have maps with mp4 files in them; and and later maps with photos.

However, I suspect the maps are already in a format which can be inserted directly in the timeline. I suspect you have something like this: MapA.mp4; MapB.mp4 etc and MapImage01.jpg (or xxx.png or some other photo extension); MapImage02.jpg etc.

If so, then simply insert these files directly into the timeline in the order you want, edit them the way you want, and then Share them to produce a new video containing everything.

If you have started a New Project, and insert, say, MapA.mp4 first, you should get a message asking if you want the whole Project to have the same properties as those of the video clip. Say OK. Later, when you get to Share, then you can use the options up at the very top: either Same as Project Settings or Same As First Clip.

NO I have looked in english manual and it says:

• Audio: AAC, Aiff, AMR, AU, CDA, M4A, MOV, MP2, MP3, MP4, MPA, OGG, WAV, WMA
• Image: BMP, GIF, JPG, MPO, MSP, PNG, PSD, PSPImage, TGA, TIF/TIFF, UFO, WBM, WBMP,WMF, Camera RAW

Importing from digital media
You can import DVD, AVCHD, BDMV video and photos from a disc, hard drive, memory card and digital camcorders.
To import digital media
1 In the Capture workspace, click Import from Digital Media.
2 Click Select Import Source Folders and browse for folders that contain your digital media and click OK.
3 Click Start and the Import from Digital Media dialog box appears.

So I chosse a source folder, according to what I know now/understand.
You can import MP4 videos, WMV and photos.
But when I select a folder within MP4, WMV or photo-files nothing happened. There comes no button OK It stays completely black Can only choose for cancel.

I tried direct after starting videostudio and also when I choose for new project.

Looked again And I understand your answer. In File-Menu there is a choice import in timeline. That works THNX

We can also right Click the timeline for Insert Video, Insert Photo etc.. as my image below
