Hi there,
Does anyone know if there is a clever way to correct non-synchronous audio and video so I can make the video lip-sync in Video Studio (2021 or 2022) ?
Thanks for your time.

Re: Audio and video synchronisation
One method I use now is to split the video and audio and then shift the two relative to each other by 1 frame at a time (max. zoom for accurate shifting).
In case of partial mis-synchronisation you can divide the files on the timeline into pieces and thus edit one or more parts separately.
Sometimes you can correct something with slowing down or speeding up the audio relative to the video. But that only works for short pieces.

Re: Audio and video synchronisation
If you were to add a black colour clip to the beginning of the timeline
Split audio
Modifying the black clips duration will nudge the adjacent clip along the timeline
Switch to Sound Mixer and you can see the wave form which may help
The question has to be asked is why your video is out of sync, where did you get the video from, did you use some form of capture device?

Smart method Trevor, adding a black clip to the beginning of the timeline. Thanks.
