AI in PSP 2022

Post by Leslie »

I was under the impression that this version had the AI enhancements.
Am I wrong as mine doesn't have it?

Thx

Yes 2022 does

Most are found in the sub-menu:
Adjust -> Artificial Intelligence -> AI Denoise, AI Artifact Removal, AI Portrait Mode, AI Background Replacement

Found just below the "Hue and Saturation" menu group.

The Pic-To-Painting options are found in the Instant Effects Palette.

There is nothing under Adjust.
I wanted to try the background replacement.

It should look like this -

If you don't see these menu items you can try resetting your menus.
1) View -> Customize
2) Click the "Menu" tab at the top of the customize dialog
3) Click the "Reset" button under the drop-down that says "Default Menu"

Or you can try resetting the whole interface to factory defaults in case something has been corrupted. Instructions can be found here - https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?t=67616

Please note, never import a workspace saved under a previous version. Those will remove new commands from the menu because they didn't exist in the previous PSP version. Not saying you did this, just covering my bases in case I missed something.

The only other thing I can think of is the Workspace type. AI Background Replacement does not exist in the Photography workspace but should exist in both Essential and Complete. Photography also doesn't have an Adjust menu so I don't think that's your problem.
