Combine Two Projects

Post by rcktexas »

How do I combine two projects into one project, with two menus and two video/audio streams?

you cant.

you may try exporting the first project (without menu for fast rendering) as a DVD-folder.

load your second project and use the Import DVD function to load the DVD-folder of your first project.

Create your menus for the videos then burn it to DVD.

I will try that.

I cropped a scene in an earlier project. I re-opened the project and I want to re-crop the scene to make it shorter. Do I have to start over?

Thanks for the heads up.

Now I have another problem. The audio disappeared halfway into a clip on a burnt disc. It's there in the Project - just not on the burnt disc. What causes that to happen?

Another problem has arisen. The sound is not synchronized to the video.

The scene freezes on one frame but the sound continues and when the video gets back to normal it picks up late compared to the sound. When the video gets towards the end, there is no audio left, and the remaining scene is silent.

When I check the scene in DVD MovieFactory it works properly in the Preview viewer. It's when it gets rendered that something screws up. I burnt it to disc and created an ISO which I separately burnt to disc - both are screwed up. It is not just one scene - several scenes are that way.

Why is the audio not synchronized properly? Why did the scene freeze on one frame for so long?

Is it time for another patch? I can't use this the way it behaves.
