Advance Motion gone from Edit window?

This is has been an issue for a while, but I just decided to address it. I don't remember exactly when this option disappeared, but I can find no way to get it back. So, I thought I would post here to see if there is a way without reinstalling.

The problem is pretty simple. In the EDIT window, over in the left side of the box, there is the BASIC and ADVANCED Motion options. Those are both gone. That space is just empty.

You're going to kick yourself, but to see your second image, you need highlighted content in an Overlay track

Advanced Motion is also the same as Customise Motion

Right click a clip on the timeline for Motion - Customise Motion

Oh-- the Advanced Motion button is a little dark, hard to see but is there below the Basic Motion option.

It does not matter. Highlighting a clip does not enable it. I have gone through every setting a dozen times or more.

Your 1st image shows that you have highlighted content in the VIDEO track, those Motion Options are only available when your content is in an OVERLAY track
