Service Patch 3 available from Check for Updates
I have just downloaded and installed, seems to have fixed the issues we were experiencing.
Version 25.3.0.584

I loaded a standard mp4 file and VS crashed immediately-BANG!! Big improvement. Power Director ate it up-no problem there!
Sent the mp4 file to Vimeo-no problem. I reproduced it with Power Director and then placed it in VS and the video did not crash. See specs for crash and no crash attached. Looks like a different codec could be the culprit or the variable bit rate. Apparently PD can do what VS cannot and why not?

Are you saying that the crash started after installing SP3.

It happened after installing SP3. I ran it in PD without issue. PD produced a fixed bit rate. The mp4 inserted into VS had a variable bit rate and crashed immediately.

You have not given much detail regarding your video file although you seem to think it may be a different codec or variable frame rate, why is that?
You indicate that the crashes occurred after installing SP3, does that mean there was no crash before SP3.
If you can provide a sample of your video, I will try the video on my system, that may mean re-installing 2022 to check using SP1 , If needs be, I am willing to do that.
If I find that SP3 is directly causing this problem then I will report to Corel Support

I could not find the videos that caused the problem. However, I entered several mp4's and they had no problem. That's the good news. I guess it was a fluke.

I installed SP3. I found no errors. I recommend installing. Now I have VS 22 25.0.0.584

I am so glad for this Forum.I left it for a while before even thinking about installing the SP3 because of the trouble I had after installing VS2022 .Thank you admin for being here.
