I'm used to other video editing software. Most of them have very simple (AND QUICK) crossfade and fade-to-black handles on the ends of timeline clips that you can just click on and drag into the clip.
It does not appear that VideoStudio (25.2) has them. Am I missing something or does one have to pick a transition from the library?
Even Pinnacle Studio has such handles. It makes NO sense not to have them.
PS... I don't see what the "Topic icons" are exactly. It APPEARS that others don't bother with them but, in any case, I've looked around but don't see a clue to them.
Thanks,
Christopher
Are there no simple crossfade or fade-to-black handles available on ends of clips in VideoStudio?

Welcome to the forum.
In the Transitions library, it starts with All, but that's followed by Popular. And in Popular are both a Fade to Black and Crossfade. And you can just drag and drop the Fade to Black to the end of the last video clip in your project. Crossfade will also do the same thing, but the fade will be fairly fast depending on the default timing you set for it in Preferences. To make it longer with Crossfade, I usually insert a black panel at the end of the video and insert the Crossfade transition to cover both the video and panel. You can make the panel as long as you want.
