I received a pop up to upgrade, I have always waited a while. The upgrade full is 75% off and the upgrade is only 50% off? Almost a 25-dollar difference. Years ago, an upgrade would upgrade the previous version, though the last several versions installed the whole program. You could end up with different versions as before you would not. Though I am not sure I see anything spectacular in the newer version. Though I would hope they fixed some burner problems (doubtful)

There is no difference between the full version and upgrade, all that happens is with the upgrade,it will require a previous version reg. key

I will double check, but I always go for the Ultimate I think. I tend to find there is little difference like there used to be when I started with version III lol

I see the attached image when accessing the Welcome Screen using 2021
Clearly shows purchasing Video Studio Ultimate, a good deal.
The Upgrade assumes you have an earlier version, but then you would not be seeing this screen if not running Video Studio.

I get the same Ultimate offer on VS 2021's Welcome screen -- only it's for NZ$37 -- which is still an extremely good price.
