Who desire PSP on Linux?

Post by Mymage »

Hi all,
I'm an amateur photographer and use PSP since decades.
In recent years I'm moving from Windows system to Linux (Ubuntu) and I'm very sad to not have the possibility to use it on that operating system (natively because I don't have a big machine to use it on a virtual machine with Windows).
There is anyone else interested in this possibility?
There is a way to set up a poll to collect list of users interested in this?
If we are more than three :D Can we do something to send our desire to commercial/development team?
Thanks for your attention and comments.

There are different petition websites out there you can try, admittedly those tend to be used more for political challenges but if you wanted to you could use them. Or just a Google Form. However I doubt it would mean much. Corel's development team often talks about not having the resources and time necessary to do more than add three or four new improvements every year. I doubt very much they will ever expand the code base to include other operating systems. Especially ones as varied as Linux.

Have you tried RoboLinux to see if their stealthvm would work on your system? It claims to be able to run Windows apps without lag.
