Hello. I've got some photos I want to turn into a comic, i.e. Look hand drawn and hand coloured.
An effect I like is in this tutorial, however I'm stumped by the 'poster edges' , I can't find the tool in PaintShop Pro.

All I've done up to now is duplicate the layer ready, now I'm stumped.

It's hard to compete with the Comic Book effect made with Photoshop tools. The PSP tools are not exactly the same and the rendering will be different.
Why not add the G'MIC plugin to PSP?

Re: Comic Book Effect from this Photoshop Tutorial...
Poster edges looks like a mixture of Posturize and an edge effect. It's doing two effects in one. Essentially. I don't know if there is an exact equivalent in PSP for that single effect but there are several options you can try.
1) Use G'Mic plugin which has a Poster Edges effect that has options similar to those offered in Photoshop - The first reply in this topic gives a general overview of installing the G'Mic plugin - https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?p ... ic#p394325
The download location is here - https://gmic.eu/download.html
2) The other option I can offer, is just perform posterize, then one of the several edge effects.
Effects -> Artistic Effects - > Posterize (use this to decrease the colors)
Effects -> Artistic Effects -> Colored Edges
The edge effects can be replicated in several ways including duplicating the image to it's own layer, using one of the edge effects that convert it to B & W and playing with the blend mode.
3) Use one of the pre-made scripts that PSP provides. If you don't already have the script toolbar open go to View -> Toolbars -> Script. Then in the drop-down list find either 13 Comic Line Art or Color Sketch. You may still need to do the Posterize effect first for the best look but that's hard to say for sure.
