Can't burn with MovieFactory

I have a certain problem. I've found that my copy of DVD MovieFactory (which surpasses my expectation since I just quick using Roxio to make DVDs) has an issue with burning the DVDs I author. The program has no problem whatsoever creating an image of my DVD creation, but whenever I try to burn, my computer just freezes up. I tried burning an image using the other Ulead products in my bundle, but they freeze my computer too. At the moment, I'm relying on Roxio to burn the DVD images, but I would like to know if there's any way I could fix this problem so I won't have to rely on both Ulead and Roxio for my DVD creating. Does anyone have any suggestions?

And on another note, I've noticed that when I play back the DVD on my computer, I can get the entire image, but when I play it back on my television's DVD player, the image gets cut off around the edges. The same problem occured when I used Roxio to create my DVDs. I've also noticed that playing back the dvd on larger tv sets cuts off the image less. I'm assuming this problem usually happens and thatit can't be fixed, but if it can, can anyone tell me how please? Thanks.

I have had the same burn problem. Since installing MF4 it has also affected the burning of my previously happy software such as VideoStdudio 9. After uninstalling MF4 my old software works again. I have contacted Ulead support to see if they can identify what is wrong.
Sounds similar to your problem. Please post the answer if you find it first!

If you scroll down this page to thread by Justin Smith. I think you may find the answer. Removing DataAdd by uninstalling that component in control panel allows UVS9 and DVDMF4 to burn! Seems there is a conflict with Roxio drag to disc.
