Simple box or line around image

Post by 6860_Pacific »

I am trying to add a thin black line around the perimiter of a square image. Like a simple frame. I am using PSP Ultimate 21. Thank you in advance for providing the way to do this.

Go to the Image menu and select "Add Borders". You can then select the color and size of the border.

Quick question, is this on a layer or just around the whole image in general? If it's just around the whole image Borders is definitely the way to go. Some important bits of info, the borders command will flatten your image, it's meant to be used as sort of the "last thing you do" to an image. So if you have multiple layers I recommend creating a PSPImage backup of the file first, then convert to the final format you're going to want and add the border at that time.

If it's around a layer, you have several options.
