VS 2022 Transition issues after installing SP2

Post by lata »

Two A/B transition, FX Crossfade and Funnel do not display the thumbnail on the library, although scrolling the mouse over seems to have an effect.
The timelines do not display the transition, just shows as a blank section.

The two transitions do appear to function correctly, just the thumbnail display is missing.

Same for me Trevor -- everything still showing, inserting and working. FWIW I always have Crossfade set as my preferred transition.

I don't see transition issues either - created a quickie vsp with videos from the samples and inserted the cross-fade and funnel transitions; They were displayed in the list with icons, and worked fine when the vsp played.
I did note - in passing - that the transitions are now alphabetically organised, something that was quite haphazard in earlier builds.

Thanks Guys
Just another instance of some having issues where others don’t.
I did note that the thumbnail would show when floating my mouse over which activates the library animation, deselecting Media Library Animation from Preferences shows the thumbnails as white all the time.

I’ll try a few resets to see if I can fix without re-re-installing

Post updated

A library reset has fixed this issue
