In case you missed it, Corel has been rebranded as Alludo.
Hope that results in something positive for the users of their products.

Re: Corel => Alludo
Yes - announced 3+ weeks ago, see the contacts or about sections at the bottom of the Corel webpage.
But it just seems like window dressing - explicit comments about no product changes. This seems to be an IT industry thing - aka facebook/meta and similar, where the name change has been called out for not changing anything of substance about the way the company operates.
In the wider world, large companies that have invested decades of customer experience with a brand name - eg ford automobiles - would never consider changing the name or the logo because they have become set in the common mindset as associated with certain things (Ford = automobiles).
Alludo just threw 35 years of that sort of intangible customer benefit away: 'Corel' was associated with multi-media software in the general mindset and getting it back as alludo - maybe - will take years of spend, that could be much better invested for customer and thus corporate benefit in the products themselves.
This sort of thing isn't limited to commercial enterprises - government and non-profit organisations do it too. Why? usually IMHO (personal experience) because there's a new chief/senior executive who sees it as away to 'stamp their mark'. But it's expensive and who pays? because generally there's no specific budget (who saw this coming soon enough to make a separate budget for it?) the cost comes out of other things like support. And as a result re tl's comment about that yielding a positive product experience - the existing is likely to get worse, not better.

Re: Corel => Alludo
The rebranding in our forums in fact occurred nearly a week ago. But for those who still don't see it, you will probably need to reset your browser's History to empty the cache still showing Corel.
