Why are some mov files transparent and others not. FIXED

UPDATE: The issue is fixed thank you.
I just had a new intro & the file isn't transparent. Not sure why this one guy did it & no one else can. All are MOV files. It would not work at all for MP4 files. What are they doing wrong that he did right? Tried converting them myself but it's not working. When they do MOV files it only will let me add the track to the voice or music track, not the overlay or the track section. One guy keeps telling me to buy adobe premiere pro, I personally dislike it & will not buy it. Should not have to buy a new program when someone else can do it most of all if I am paying you for it.

Those overlays videos need to have alpha channel. MOV and AVI (with certain codecs) can have that.
I don't know any MP4 with alpha.
Your next bet is to use the proper blending mode for that overlay and tweak it till it's fine.

Go to Share - Mov
Choose one of the Alpha Channel Profiles at the bottom of the list
The alpha channel does not support audio

I did not make the file. I don't know what settings they used when they made it. I don't know how to do any of that.

Sorry I thought you were asking how to use Video Studio to render your clips to Mov using alpha channels that support a transparent background

As a test
If you place an image or object on the overlay track, you can use Customise Motion to move the clip across the screen, giving a little bit of action.
Share Mov - Alpha Chanel profile will create a video of that image with a transparent background.

Is that what you are trying to do?

By the way to provide clip properties you may be best to right click a clip from the timeline, choose properties, create an image of that panel.

No, it's a Youtube video overlay intro. The file is too large to attach to show you. Like how it says "Like, Comment & Subscribe over a video. Those little animations.
