Save application preferences
How can we save application preferences? Customized preferences are lost if we do an application reset, but I want to be able to recover settings such as User Interface preferences. I found no relevant help in the User Guide.

Re: Save application preferences
Via menu File -> Workspace
and more via "quite complicated tree" in registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Corel
but I never saved and restored PaintShop Pro for myself.

Re: Save application preferences
PSP can save most UI preferences in Workspaces. There are then also 2 scripts that can backup the preferences that workspaces don't.
File -> Workspace -> Save and Load
These will save most UI changes, keyboard shortcuts, toolbars, where you put palettes and icons, etc. Based on what you're asking this seems like what you want. It does not backup general preferences or file locations.
General Preferences Backup Script - This script will back up your general preferences (File -> Preferences -> General Program Preferences) if you've made any changes to these preferences this script will back them up. - https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?t=56858
File Locations - This script will backup your current file locations. So if you've added folders to PSP to look for resources this script will back them up so you can restore them after resetting the app. - https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?t=63919
