video clips not showing in clip bin upon upgrade to pro 2022
hello, I have upgraded to videostudio pro ultimate 2022, i have a video i worked with in the 2020 version, when i opened up the file into the 2022 version it only loads in the timeline and not the loading the clips, soundfiles, and titles in the bin that i would need to edit if needed. how do I get those in there that was in the 2020 version? thanks in advance. another problem, when I edit something to correct an error, then save then play back it did not save. What Gives?

When you refer to the “bin” I assume you are meaning the Media Library showing to the right of the preview screen.
The library is not associated or attached to any projects, therefor does not automatically contain clips used in our projects.
Yes we can import our clips to the library which makes them available to use on the timelines.
I am unsure if this option will work but you could try…I did test from 2021 to 2022, unfortunately do not have 2020 installed
If you still have VS 2020 installed export the library, Settings – Library Manager – Export Library
Then try Importing that file into 2022.
Otherwise you will have to rebuild the library again.
Can I ask that you update your profile to show your Corel Programs.

hello trevor, my profile is the same no changes, i did try to do as you instructed and just as i was about to export the 2020 kept crashing now wont even load. it keeps crashing all the time. and now the 2022 version starts to crash upon using it. looks like corel needs to improve and fix this. thanks for your help.

pss, lol I solved my own problem, i opened version 2022, (did not crash), loaded my work from previous version, clicked on storyboard, and dragged and dropped each and every clip (which took time) but worked and now can edit. thanks for your support.
