Burn direct from VCR to DVD

My problem is so simple:

I don't need to edit, author, add pix, colorize, add videos, EFX or anything else. I just need to perform the most simple Audio/Video burns from a VCR or DV plyer direct to disc through a capture card. I do not want to build intermediate files or save to a HD, don't need chapter points, just direct audio/video burns to DVD-R.

I searched the Ulead Studio 9 manual and see how to do everything else except this simple procedure. Where do I look that I haven't looked already? Is there a simple procedure?

it depends on the type of capturing device that you have.

videostudio has a DV-to-DVD wizard.

MovieFactory 4 has a Straight-to-disc feature.

for DV, no problems with MovieFactory and VS9.

however, some capture cards are not supported by Ulead products. they mostly support WDM capturing cards (all-in-wonder, leadtek, Jetway/Kworld PCITV). MovieFactory support hauppauge pvr 150/250/350 and Terratec AV 250/400 after installing their capture plugin card.
