Where to find help using Eraser tool "brushes"
I am not able to make some of the Eraser tool types, like the Dense Dot or Lightning, give the expected result. Others, like the default circle or Hex100, work fine. I have a downloaded copy of the PSP 2022 user manual; so if help is in there, could someone point me in the right direction?

The help files won't help with individual brush heads. It'll only deal with how the settings work I'm general. What is the result you're getting and what is the result you expect?
Also other than choosing the brush head, what settings l, if any have you changed?

Levi,
Thanks for replying. With the dense dot and lightning brushes, there are no visible results. I tried changing numerous settings like opacity, hardness, and size, for example. I have used the round brush extensively, and the results are clear and dramatic, depending on control attributes.
