Aftershot lab in psp 2023. Experience ??

In general it's fine. I think it's mostly the AfterShot regular version, not the AfterShot Pro version. Obviously, all library functions were removed to work with the round-trip workflow. I'd be curious if you can add plugins or not. It doesn't seem to include the plugin manager, so any more advanced features are lost. Also it doesn't include layers editing so no masking and patching to limit edits to specific areas. This is just a RAW decoder with some advanced data correction and retrieval before bringing it into PSP for advanced editing. If you want to do more work in Aftershot and do only some edits in PSP you're still better off with the full Aftershot product.

EDIT: Just tried moving a plugin over to the Aftershot Lab, no go there. So completely bare bones AfterShot. But still good.

I read just a tutorial about it. It contains presets and you can save own presets you made.
So maybe in not too long future there coming presets from users here in the forum or just somewhere on internet.
And
There is accoring the tutorial more possible than just the few things you can do in older psp versions with RAW.

Let's look at it from a business perspective. If AS Lab had all the features of ASP3, who would upgrade? Giving a taster is smart marketing.
The annoying thing for me is I can set ASP3 to edit in PSP2023, but it would be easier to replace Lab with my paid version.
