I recently upgraded from an old nvidia to an AMD graphics card and got me a 4K display. 2 things. I'm using VS 2021 still
1. the thumbnails are a bit tiny on a 4K, is this me being stupid? Can we get bigger thumbnails in the clips window?
2. the scrubber is not usable, it keeps letting me scrub timeline, but when I release the scrubber I get pink and green bars. Like attached.

Re: Scrubber shows green/pink bars
To fix the resolution issue,
Go to Settings/System - Change the "Scale and Layout" to 150%
Next, right click on the VS2021 desktop icon and select Properties
Select - Compatibility
Change High DPI settings
Tick box - Program DPI
High DPI scaling override
Tick box -Override high DPI Scaling Behavior
From drop down box, select System(Enhanced)
click Apply/OK
I am sure that are some posts about the timeline issue, but have been unable to locate them

Re: Scrubber shows green/pink bars
I had the green/pink problem some months ago. Corel took over my computer for around 4 days on and off. In the end, the thing that resolved the problem, for me at least, was to play around with the Hardware Acceleration options. Try disabling Hardware Decoder first. That solved it for me, but if not, try the others. But to repeat, it was only one of them which caused the problem for me.

Re: Scrubber shows green/pink bars
Sweet.
Putting the app into high DPI mode using the start menu shortcut "compatibility mode" settings RobertOZ gave us made the app look better.
Going in VS2021 and Settings/Preferences/Performance , and disabling GPU acceleration sorted out the green bars.
(Toolbar Icons still look a bit blurry, going to hack around more to fix that, but this is useable for now.)
Phew for a moment I thought my hardware upgrade was going to low me down. Thanks all.
Umm is 2022 4K compatible? worth upgrading if so.

Re: Scrubber shows green/pink bars
FWIW I have had to apply the high DPI Settings. But it's easy and quick enough to do that I don't think about it and just do it.
