PSP 2022 crashes

The start up screen comes up and after a while, PSP crashes. Tried running as Admin as well - no luck. This has suddenly started happening. Have reinstalled twice now without any success.

Cannot do that. Crashes soon after the splash screen. Cannot get to the reset option. Possible to try a command prompt option, if any?

Tried Shift + PSP icon click with mouse. No joy.

When you say "no joy" do you mean the reset didn't help or you didn't get the reset dialog box because sometimes it doesn't come up right away.

Also, sometimes just a restart of the operating system helps.

Did you uninstall it with the appropriate tools?

When you say "no joy" do you mean the reset didn't help or you didn't get the reset dialog box because sometimes it doesn't come up right away.

Also, sometimes just a restart of the operating system helps.

Got the box - still does not work. Still crashes.

Yes. Twice now. Still crashes.

Did you install both versions?
Does it crash with 32bit or 64bit version?
Did you update recently the driver of your graphic card?
If so, could you reinstall the previous driver?
If not updated, verify if a new driver is available.
You need also to verify if you have the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.

Did you install both versions? No - 64bit only
Does it crash with 32bit or 64bit version? - 64 Bit. Tried 32bit and that crashed
Did you update recently the driver of your graphic card?No.

Have reinstalled PSP 2022 again. Now the screen goes upto the Welcome screen. Stays there for 2 to 3 seconds and then crashes. very frustrating!

Tried PSP 2023 Trial version - same issue.

Disconnected your internet connection and launch the program. PSP is trying to connect to Corel's servers. It could be the culprit.

Something was modified on your system.

Did you upgrade recently from Windows 10 to 11?
Did you add or remove something (screen, printer, software, ...)?
Did you use CCleaner?

Did you upgrade recently from Windows 10 to 11? No. Moved a few months ago when PSP worked.
