No sound in my movies in the slideshow

(I,m not english, so excuse me for my language)
When I put a mpeg-moviefile in my slideshow the sound is gone.
When i use a avi-moviefile the sound is okay.
The qaulity of my mpeg-files are mutch better than these avi-files,so I rather want to use my mpeg-files.
Can someone help me how to get the sound back ?

It could be your mpeg file was not compressed properly. Try recapturing or recompressing your file into mpeg file again and preview it if sound is present. ^_^

Thanks but it dit not help. the sound stil disapears when i put the movie in the slideshow.
I tryed it also with a other program :nerovisionexpres. And here i have no problem.the sound is oke.So if no one can help me further, i will go over to use that one.

Have you tried reinstalling your program and installed necessary updates for your system?

Yes , I tried reinstalling also, but it did not help.
For so far as i can see , it only goes wrong with the slideshow of Ulead.
With others there is no problem.But i do like Ulead the most tho work with.
