What do you mean by “A CFR file out of VS 2021 played fine”
Then say “But in VS 2021 the audio is out of sync from the begging”

Is riverside video recordings a security camera?
We do seem to get reports of problems using security footage with Video Studio

The video fps is using 24fps where the audio is showing 46.8fps, seems odd to have such a difference.

I mean that the file works in any player besides VS2021.

But in VS2021 preview and timeline the audio is out of sync.

Riverside.fm is a nice tool for video podcasters. The case is that VS2021 does not like the constant frame rate video which supposed to be used in audio sync operation.

In my case as work workaround I used the separate audio and synced manually since the auto sync does not work due to wro long audio wave in video file.

But it is nice observation you had with frame rate of audio. I will inform riverside.fm support team.
