Can anybody help me? My wife purchased a Kodak Easy Share camera. The video format is .MOV or quicktime. Every time I try to drag or even highlight one of these files it doesn't seem to be recognised by Videostudio. Basically the program crashes and dumps me back to my desk top without any error message.
The program has worked fine for me on all other formats. Any suggestions?

Using VS8 I found problems with editing MOV files as well. It would not crash, but the timeline would not work to edit the file. I ended up using TMPGEnc to convert the MOV to an MPEG1 file before adding it to my overlay track.
Not the same problem, but it looks like VS has been having problems with MOV files for a while.

VS7 crashing when editing mp4 files
Hi!
My VS7 crashes almost every time I try to finish my 'cool movie', by joining my mp4 video clips(shot by Olympus C-770) and adding some mp3 files. When it starts to render the file, the editing screen usually freezes when the process reaches 91%. Then it continues up to 98% and crahses.
Any solutions on this one? I have re-installed my VS7 many times. This doesn't seem to help.
