I watched a couple of PSP tutorial videos this afternoon and thought I'd try them, but when I tried to download the required plugins I was unable to do so. When I launch PSP (64-bit version) the home tab indicates "You are offline. Some resources are unavailable." but this is despite the fact that I'm actually online. Under the Edit tab I tried Effects>Get more Plugins but all that happens is I get a blank popup window. I thought perhaps PSP might have a problem with my VPN so I disabled it, but it made no difference. I also tried the 32-bit version of PSP 2021, I tried running PSP 2021 as administrator, and I modified my firewall to allow PSP through it but none of my efforts succeeded.
System info: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, i5-2320 quad core @ 3GHz, 16 GB RAM, NVidia GeForce GTX950 2 GB video RAM, 2 TB SSD
BTW, is there an easy way to determine whether my PSP is up to date? I believe I've installed all available updates but I can't be certain.

Check if there are patches here - https://www.paintshoppro.com/en/support/updates/
Do you have anti-virus?

Actually, I already knew where to get the updates, I was asking if there was a way to check if I needed them. I downloaded them anyway and when I ran the update it said no update is required. I just wanted to save myself the download & install time if (as it turned out) I didn't need them.LeviFiction wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 1:47 am Check if there are patches here - https://www.paintshoppro.com/en/support/updates/
Yes I do have (Kaspersky) anti-virus, I don't believe that it's impacting PSP functionality.

Re: PSP 2021 shows offline, can't download plugins
Hmm, I remember that site showing the build #. Don't see it now. It's rare for a version of PSP to have more than 1 or patch these days so if you've already updated once it's rare there'll be another. And if you use the web download/install it'll always be the most up to date version.
Does it have web/dns filter? Most anit-viruses let you temporarily disable to test. My only other recommendation is see where the application is trying to connect, and see if you can use traceroute command to see where it's failing.
