proDAD Script Customization Not Accessible

Post by sindaiel »

Good morning!
I've been attempting to adjust the settings of the proDAD script on a clip of mine. Applying the initial effect isn't a problem, but when I click on "Customize Filter" things do not work. I see a quick "H" in a box show up on the center of my screen and that's it.
Nearly every other effect I have tried has worked properly, including the proDAD Adorage, Mercalli 4.0 and Vitascene effects. The RotoPen effect yields the same result (or lack thereof lol) as the Script effect.
I am using VideoStudio Ultimate 2020; attached is a screenshot of what I am seeing. Any ideas on how can I go about fixing this?

Thank you very much for your help!

Try reinstalling proDAD Script, don't have VS2020 installed at the moment, so not sure where you will find it, it could be located in the Bonus Features Folder, or it could be located in the Store, as it is in VS2021/2022, open the Welcome Screen /Store/Free

Thank you very much for the suggestion!

I've poured through the Welcome Screen store and didn't see anything related to ProDAD. I then ran every installation application I could find, including the setup_Bonus.exe in the BonusFeature folder, and all the plugin installations in the same folder. Unfortunately I'm still having the same problem... Is there something I could have missed?

In the BonusFeature Folder/Plugins_X64, do you have a folder called HandScript_x64.exe, I believe that file is now called proDAD Script, In VS2021/2022 the folder is in the store and called proDAD Script
You could also reinstall the entire BonusFeature Folder, if you cannot find the individual Script filter, you would not need to uninstall any BonusFeature plugins
