Hi,
I would like to insert a text, maintain it on the screen for a given period of time, and then remove it.
The problem is that I manage to add a text (with the effect of my choice) using the " T " button, but at the end of the effect, the text disappears: I would like to keep it displayed for a period of time after the end of the effect: how to do it ?
Thank you very much

Assuming that your text displays in the Title1 timeline, all you need to do is highlight the text clip, place your pointer at the end of the clip and when the arrow displays, drag to the required length

Re: VS2021 Ult: displaying a text for a given period
I obviously tried this, but if I extend the text object until the duration I want, it also slows down the text effect !
For example, if the desired display duration is 10 seconds, and if the effect consists to display line after line (suppose there are 2 lines of text in my text), then it takes 10 seconds to display the 2 lines...
What I am looking for is: how to display the desired text (in 1 or 2 seconds) and keep it on the screen during a desired period of time.
Thanks

Depending on the effect you have applied, but assuming the text at the end of it appears to be just ordinary text without magnification, distortion or anything else, you could always simply add the text again but without any effect. And of course don't insert any transition between the text with effect and text without effect...

What is the name of the effect you are wanting to use?
What about using customize motion?

Re: VS2021 Ult: displaying a text for a given period
This would be perfect for my purpose, and this is what i initially tried to do, but I only manage to add 3D text, or a text with an effect (I know that this is stupid !) but how can I add a text without effect ?you could always simply add the text again but without any effect.
