How to find out if plugin recognized and active?

I copied WEBP Plugin from http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/product/WebPFormat
into folder

PSP\MyPSPFiles\Plugins\WebPFormat\

How can I find out if this plugin in successfully/registered recognized (in PSP X2)?

When I drag &drop *.webp files onto PSPx2 then an error popup appears:

"The specified file cannot be identified as a s supported type"

is it because the Plugin does not work or because the *.webp file is damaged?

I think PSP X2 doesn't recognize the .webp file format. This format didn't exist when X2 was created.

pstein - since the webp format plugin you downloaded is an .8bi plugin check to see if webp shows up in the extensions list in the open file dialog. File -> Open.

If the extension were .8ba I would tell you to look under File -> Import.

If the plugin has loaded properly it'll show in the extensions list.
