making a picture tube

I'm having a problem again. trying to make a picture tube. I only want one image to be used. I made a selection of my object, cut from one photo and pasted to the new raster layer as I believe the instructions said to do from reading something else on the site. Anyway, the pasted image is a giant and not at all what it should be, I need to know how to reduce the size of my picture I cut out and want to use to make a picture tube. I can find no way to make the object smaller so it will fit into the 600 x 400 px box. Also, I believe Paintshop Pro is leaving out a part of the instructions on how to do this. help appreciated. I am sending a picture of what I get after I pasted the image to the background. It is a cemetery stone marker but the entire thing needs to be showing, not just some of it.

Do the selection of the element you want to transform in the picture tube.
Do Edit/Copy.
Do Edit/Paste as new image.
Do File/Export/Picture tube.
Your element is now visible when you use the Picture tube tool.
