Hi,
I have a small area that I want to clone so that it covers a very large area the same as the small one.
What is the best way to do this please?

You can try the Magic Fill in the selection tool (context-aware fill) it'll try to sample the area around it to fill in the area.
If the large area is textured you can also try the Object Remover Tool (found in the same tool group as the clone tool). This lets you select an area and then use a sample area to fill it in. It's preferred that the sample area is of a similar size otherwise it's attempt to texture and smart blend the result will be more obvious but it might still work.
