If you're interested in using the g'mic cli instead of the g'mic plugin for batch processing you can see this post I made in the Scripting sub-forum - https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?t=69388

Re: Searching plugin to convert photo to painting
LeviFiction,
Thank you for the advice and information on using GMIC in PSP scripts. I unchecked the box for run in Silent Mode and the GMIC plugin worked in the script I created for applying a filter in a batch process in PSP 2022. I have to click OK in the dialog box to accept the processing of each image in the batch, which may be a little cumbersome, but allows me to access the filters in GMIC. The batch process ran OK as I mentioned, but the process continues to lock up my PSP 2022. I have to use Task Manager to close the program and then restart. None of the controls in PSP work after running the batch process and the script for GMIC plugins. I suspect that the GMIC plugin still may be waiting for the next image file to handle and PSP can't end the plugin when it runs all the files in the batch.
So this is a step forward. I will download the software you suggested and try that when I get the opportunity. Again, thanks for the assistance.
