Not to my knowledge, as far as I am aware, all you need to do is go to Help/Restore Purchase and follow the prompts

AFAIK, you can transfer the plug-in from one version to another, or even the same version after a re-install. See the help menu restore purchases item. It's probably a good idea to save that plug-in or a copy of it separately from the main program folder, so that an un-install does not delete it also. Ken or Trevor (lata) may have more recent info on this

Nothing more recent. AFAIK it's still as Robert says: go to Help > Restore Purchase.

It's not like that. The plug-ins I bought on the X10 are still working well until 2022.
