Hi,
Am usied to PI and being able to resize an image layer using the handles, not having to insert actual sizes.

Am I missing something?
Thanks

Don't worry, somehow it now works.
Open new file
Open an older file then ctrl c to save ( Cannot right click to save)
Ctrl V to paste into new file
Use handles to resize new layer.
Good.

Re: Quick layer resize using handles
Update.
Not sure why but it has reverted to not being able to resize with handles.
I can change the dimension etc., but not resize the rectangle image.
I didn't do anything, just opened another 2 images then copied, pasted in to the new panel like before.
On the corners there is the Move Cross icon and a small half moon on top of it, but it is for the dimension.
It's driving me crazy.

Re: Quick layer resize using handles
Finally found hidden away the Tool Options - Pick Tool where I can chnage mode from Perspective to Scale.
I never use Perspective, so can I have 'Scale' as the default', not Perspective?

Re: Quick layer resize using handles
It normally defaults to scale. And should take on the last used settings. So once you've set it to scale and actually scaled something it should stay in Scale mode. Note that holding CTRL or SHIFT will temporarily change the mode.

Re: Quick layer resize using handles
Thanks for the reply.
I figured it would stay after I used it, but no it always defaults back to Perspective so thought that must be normal.
I looked in options and Prefs but couldn't see anything.

Re: Quick layer resize using handles
Again it will change based on the control keys pressed, and the mode will default to the Last Used not the last selected. If you want it to stay on Scale you have to scale something and select a different tool so that the last used setting becomes Scale.
