pan and zoom causes VS 2018 freeze

Hi,

VS 2018 Ultimate freezes when I press ok in the pan and zoom function. All the other things are ok, I just can't use the pan and zoom. Any idea what to do?

P&Z works fine in my VS2018 (v21.4.0.165).

If you select the Customize button and then the OK button without making any changes, does VS2018 freezes?

Has P&Z always caused a crashed since you've installed VS2018? Are you running v21.4.0.165?

I am running the newest version of VS2018, just checked. And only recently P&Z is causing a freeze. I'll check if VS2018 freezes if I don't make any changes in using P&Z this afternoon. I'll let you know.

After consultation with my partner we have decided to upgrade to the newest version of Video Studio. Thanks for your willingness to help in this matter. We can close this chapter.

VS 2018 is one of the better versions, seems to be more stable
You should have tried a reinstall first, that fixes many issues as it could just be a corrupt file causing P & Z not to function
Your Graphics card is 10 year old technology and appears to have only 1GB of memory which will not be sufficient for any HD work

We haven’t bought the 2022 version yet. I’ll first reinstall the 2018 version again and see if we can do an upgrade on the graphics card.
