So I decided to clear my system from 2019 and 2021 to make room for VS2022.
I run revo and the VScleanups and also few others .
Running my old X9 showed that prodad's Vitascene 2.0 was removed. So I searched my archive and re install that plugin.
* I made an image of the system , and ready for the new VS2022.
**Will I use it?? maybe just for partial tasks.
***I see the new forum layout is vertical.

If you removed 2019 and 2020 to make room did you remove the Contents folder.
Then installing 2022 will not populate that folder as the size in Gb for 2022 has been reduced, notice the download folder (64bit) is approx 4 Gb
If you do need the extra library samples then download to install from Welcome - Store - free stuff

I just started the D/L , the stub does 25.1.0.472
I moved the old external content to other partion. Lets see what come up after the new install.
*I stooped, I'm on cellular and connection is ~300kb I'll try again in the evening.

I downloaded 2022 as new yesterday and was given 25.0.0.373 which then needed SP1 installed to update to 472
I will try again but will have to uninstall 2022 first

Installing 2022
I have now downloaded the installation files for 2022 and yes confirm that 20.1.0.472 version was downloaded. I have yet to install the program.
It appears that Corel have combined the latest service pack to the program files.
Anyone now installing 2022 will install 25.1.0.472 without the need to install the service pack.
In addition
To reduce the size of the installation files to approx 4Gb Corel have removed some files that are now available via Welcome-Store-free options.
If you have not installed 2019 to 2021 then the shared Contents folder will be empty, as the 2022 program does not install all samples, templates, dvd menu templates, MyDvD menus, rotopen and a few more.
This gives the user the choice whether to install those or not.
If you do have 2019 to 2021 then most of these are already installed being shared across the existing programs.
