Cannot Apply the New Update Patch...

I am unable to install the 9/8/2005 update patch to bring DVD Movie Factory 4.0 up to version 4.3

The install begins and then I get an error message stating that the installer cannot find DVD Movie Factory 4 installed on my system. I did a full uninstall and then re-installed the program just to be sure and I still get the same message...

The software itself functions perfectly for me.

The patch won't work on a trial version.

It started as a trial version, but it is paid for and has been registered with ULead.

Search the MF forum for "Trial Version" etc.
If you were using the trial and then installed MF4 you may have to
perform some cleaning up to the computer.

The posts I'm referring to are answers from tech support referencing
the same problem as yours. Having a trial version then installing the full version.
