Mercalli Analysis Screen Issue

Post by Guru Larry »

I'm using Videostudio 2022, but whenever I use Mercalli Pro, it always leaves the "Video Analysis Required" banner on screen after rendering. No matter how mant times I have pressed the Analyze button.

I am rendering at 60fps in M2t as well. tried MP4 Etc. still the same issue.

Am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: it won't appear if I render the video at 30fps, and it won't appear if I render at 120fps. Is there a bug with 60fps?

Check your project settings as Mercalli can experience problem if the frame rate of your project settings doesn't match that of the rendered video. For example, if your project settings are 30p and you're rendering at 60p, then Mercalli will display the "Video Analysis Required" banner on the output. However, if you render at 30p then the output will be banner free.

I have the same issue - with project at 30p and rendering to 30p, Mercalli works, but with project at 60p, rendering to 60p I continuously get the "Video Analysis Required" overlay banner. No matter what, I can't get Mercalli to work when rendeing at 60p. Anyone else, or anyone with a solution?

Sorry, unable to replicate your issue
Placed a 59.94 fps MPERG-4 video in timeline, applied Mercalli Pro filter, selected Options/Customize Filter/Analyze after completion selected OK.
Went to Share and selected Same as Project Settings, then Start, after completion, rendered video plays without Analise Screen issue

Please make sure that if you are rendering to 60P that your project properties are also using 60p frame rate.
Press Alt+ Enter to show Project Properties.

When you go to share - what options are you choosing
Same as Project Settings
Same as First Video clip
or one of the pre-defined profiles.
