An odd installation

Post by pepegota »

In VS 2022 I tried to install Rotopen and Script after a reinstall of the program and it would not install. A screen came up asking to install and I proceeded. An apparant installation took place, but when I checked the result they were not there. However, the I found Rotopen and Script exe's with a search for them in the computer. From there I was able to install them using the found exe file and eliminate multiple copies of the exe files from repeated tries to install from VS 2022. Strange indeed!

You may have got them to appear without multiple efforts to install by resetting VS -- that's done, of course, by deleting or renaming the 25.0 folder in C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64)\ and reopening VS. You need to give it a little time for the 25.0 folder to be rebuilt, hopefully this time with Rotopen and Script included in the FX library.
