Install Problems

Very frustrated! I tried installing VS2022 Ultra and got the message 'We encountered a problem while installing. Please contact Technical Support'. I was told to uninstall my previous versions. I did using Win 10 uninstall. Same problem. I was then told to try to install in Safe Mode. I did with the same problem. The errors would come up in the Main Program install and the Standard Content install. The Bonus worked ok. I was then told to use the uninstall by Corel which I did. I tried a reinstall and this time the Main Program and Standard Content installed and not the Bonus. I tried in Safe Mode and the 'normal' way and had the same problem. I was then told to try to install the Standard Content and Bonus separately. The install wouldn't let me do that. It always included the Main Program install. I tried installing it that way anyway and I did get the Main Program and Standard Content to install but not the Bonus. I was then told to set up another user in Win 10. I emailed Corel back and asked why I would do that and have not received an answer. I also asked if he could send me a file with just the Bonus and have yet to hear. I have used Corel for years and have never had this problem before. I use it basically to make videos of my family, trips, and dog. Thanks for any help.

I too went through all kinds of grief trying to install VS2022. What finally worked for me was to install the trial version and then update from that.
