PSP 2022 Freezing on Text Tool

This just suddenly appeared today.

I am running PSP 2022 on a Windows 10 Dell PC, 64Gigs of memory.

All of a sudden today, whenever I select the Text tool, PSP suddenly freezes. I see the Text cursor, but I can't click it where I want to start the text. No other toolbar icons will work either after the Text tool is selected. The Task Manager says Very High.

I tried rebooting the PC but no go. I tried doing a reset (Shift + Click Desktop Icon) but no go. I'm running out of ideas and I don't really want to do a re-install.

Any thoughts?
