sync problem solved; two questions

Post by Al Marotta »

Hi Everyone,

I'm the guy who had a sound sync problem with a project that I had broadcast on local access cable tv. This was with VSPX10. When broadcast, the 30 minute show would stay in sync until about halfway through and then go out of sync. It did not have this problem when I viewed my program on the web sites of various video outlets--that is, when I went to the site, not necessarily when the show was being broadcast and played my program.

What I did was try not hitting any buttons, such as "project settings" or same a first clip or whatever it is. The only thing I hit in rendering was "create a preview range. I got acceptable sync for my program with that. Mind you, when I edited this program on VSP, I did not pay any attention to first clip issues or anything like that. I still don't know how that works.

My two questions, both asked after a thorough search of the so-called instruction book, are:
1)How do you get colored superimposed titles?
2)When you superimpose a clip over the main clips, is there a way of doing it that automatically covers over the main (underlying) clip, or do you have to manually widen it?
Thank you,
Al Marotta

When you add a title to the timeline, you can change the font's properties including colour.

Select the "Use fit-to-screen as default size in Overlay Track" preference.
