Problen with BorisFX Title Studio and VS 2022 Ultimate.

I recently updated to Video Studio (‘VS’) 2022 Ultimate. BorisFX was still operating in VS as I had retained it from a previous version of VS.

Anyway my problem is that when I open a video file in VS and then add the BorisFX filter to create a lower third I am using the ‘sample_lake.mp4’ video file. I then go to the FX filters and add the ‘Boris BCC title studio’ to the video timeline where the sample_lakes.mp4 file is. I then click on the ‘B FX symbol’ at the beginning of the video file in the time line and I’m taken to the ‘Effects Panel’. I click on ‘Customise Filter’ whilst BCC Title Studio is highlighted in blue. Then I am taken to the ‘Boris Continuum’ screen. There I select one of the Lower Third pre-sets and click on the ‘Select Advanced UI’ button. At the UI screen I reduced the time of the duration of the lower third to 5 seconds so that it commences at 2 seconds into the video and leaves/stops at 7 seconds. If you don’t do this the lower third stays on the video for the entire length of the video. When I prevue this on the Advance UI screen it looks fine. However, when I click on ‘Apply’ and I’m taken back to the VS Edit Screen and play the video to check it there is a problem. What happens is that the screen is blank up until the 2 second mark and then it plays OK but only up to the 7 second mark. Note: this is the time that I reduced the lower third to play back in the Advanced UI screen. After 7 seconds the rest of the screen goes blank again. I have played the video in both ‘Clip’ and ‘Project’ and it is the same. I have tried everything that I can think of but to no avail.

I am stumped. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Can't really help you Kym, I have BCC in VS2018 and copying your procedures, everything works fine, I assume you have copied BCC from VSX10 to VS2022, so it's possible that we have different BCC versions

Yes, I copied the relevant files from my old VSX10. I have already done a re-install of VS22 but that did not solve the problem. Again thanks for the reply.

I used files from 2020 and has a large red cross as a watermark over BCC
Then I used X10 versions and this worked for BCC as image

With BCC open you could try registering from the Help menu, I am sure I would have done that sometime in the past.

Registering from the help menu is registering with BorisFX NOT Corel.

My problem as I stated in great detail is that the BCC Title Studio only half works in my VSX2022.
