Un-installed the previous version. Hunted for folders, erased them and restarted.
Same for my install.
I minimised a (brand new) project that was exporting the finished video. It completed the vid, then silently crashed. It's SO sneaky.
Titler 5 has now been removed. Fingers crossed.
It didn't seem to crash... when I tried again!

Here I am again briefly
Being away from home for a while, I had installed VS 2022, on a laptop, but it didn't work.
Back home I tried again to install it on a desktop PC, but unfortunately the same problem, software crash at startup.
I therefore only have to ask for a refund following the Corel procedure and stay with VS 2020 which works perfectly (VS 2021 does not work either)

I asked for a refund, for the software, but it doesn't seem that simple and yet I didn't have to justify my refund for myself, having dealt with assistance later who never managed to make another software work (VS 2021) and that made me lose precious time.
I just have to wait for the refund

I've been using VS for more than 10 years and experienced crashing issues with the new edition (e.g. VS 2019, VS 2020) again and again. VS 2021 seems to be a relatively stable release from the beginning. I'm afraid VS 2022 is an unstable release with the terrible crash issues again.
