Installing VideoStudio

Hi, This is my first time on Corel user web board so help me if I get something wrong!
I have downloaded the Coral VideoStudio Ultimate 2020 received from Amazon on Saturday 26 Feb, after installing the program I received a message to say, 'The setup encountered a problem while trying to configure your software'. I later tried the program again but this time I selected repair and got the same message!
Has anyone experienced this and can advise me what to do next?

Was there a special sale that you got VS2020 and not the current VS2022 ?
The first step is to ask Amazon and to D/L again.

Corel Video Studio 2020 is a few years old now, is that a typo for the latest version 2022

I would suggest whatever version you have use the Cleanup tool to remove Video Studio, download the appropriate files from here

I would then create a new empty folder on your hard drive and download the installation files again, just in case the first download was corrupt.
You can download a new installation file from here, save it to your new folder

Running this file insert your serial number.
then choose Custom will show the download save location, make sure that is your new folder

Personally I would Download Only
then run the installation for Main Program, if that works run the installer again to install the additional packs.

Hi and thank you both for your reply, it is an error on my part as I did order 2020 and should have gone for the latest version. I will try to download it into a custom file as you have suggested.
Im not good when it comes to computers and programing as nothing seems to go right but I think Ill have a go.
