This program, while has some excllent feature is simply to buggy to tolerate. NOW when I author somthing it crashes leaving nothing done. No clue as to what the issue is. What a huge pain.
IS there another program someone cansuggest? really the ony thing that drew me to MF was the motion thumbnails.

Serioulsy ULEAD, you shouldn't have to be patient to use your pgram IT should be a pleasure-not a stress.

Don't know which version of MF your using MF4 is the latest and has an update that should be installed.
You may have conflicting software on the machine.

VideoStudio 9 Retail_Box version is an excellent program that I would suggest. Compliments MF4.
You can perform all the video editing in VideoStudio9. Export the videos as DVD compliant files and import them into MF4.
MovieFactory 4 can then be used to make a custom dvd from those files.

Hi,
Would Nero be a conflicting software?

I have MF 3 and 4 and I always use MF3 - it's more stable. The only feature missing is AC3 support (only needed if you want to edit discs recorded in a stand alone dvd recorder). MF3 is £6.99 from the ulead mal so it's worth getting.
