Hi,
I upgraded to VS2022 Ultimate and started working on a project that is about 75% done.
I had used the Crossfade transition extensively working with VS2021.
When I tried to use it in VS2022, it is not there... just an icon of a white box with an X through it.
I opened VS2021 and it is there.
Any way to get it into VS2022?
Thanks.

First thing to try:
1. Go to your SV2022 download folder to find VideoStudio_Install.exe file.
2. Launch the installer. It should be populated with your language, TV system and serial number.
3. Click on Next.
4. Click the Repair radio button.
5. Click on Next.
6. Click on Repair.
After it runs, start VS2022 and see if the transition is there (it should be).

Re: VS2021 Transitions Missing in VS2022
I made 3 attempts to repair.
The first resulted in a crash that caused Win10 to restart.
The second resulted in an error midway through, but it did finish confirming the error (see images)
The third result was same as first.
Cleanup tool next?

Would suggest that you download a fresh copy of VS2022, then attempt a reinstall, do you have any previous versions of VS installed, if so, be careful if you use the 2022 cleanup tool
Re: VS2021 Transitions Missing in VS2022
I did an uninstall using Wise Care 365, and then re-installed.
The transitions were there.
The transitions that were missing originally were the ones I had in My Favorites (VS2021).
Problem is resolved.

Thanks for the update, I believe Favourites are version specific.
You could try exporting the library from 2021 then importing to 2022, that should also use the favourites.
First though I would export 2022 library to create a copy as a backup.
And should things not work, a library reset would revert to as installed

I don't buy VS 2022, I use the trial version. Crossfade
Appears normally.
The VS2021 is a white box of X. This is using windows 11
is marked with an X. But it works fine.
