Color bars?????

Just reinstalled dvd picture show to a new computer. Burned a slide show onto dvd with about 35 photos. They all show as color bars/test pattern, no actual pictures.
Also if I try to do a large slide show, in the final screen of all the photos, many show up as color bars also. I have installed the latest patch.
Running Win xp home, P4 3.0 hyperthread, igb ram 6800gt video card.
Anyone had the same troubles??

WHat's the file format of your pictures?
Can you preview the slideshow before burin into DVD?

Actually the pics are jpg. But the company rep sent me some things to try and problem solved. I just deleted all the .temp files in the windows directory, reinstalled and applied the latest patch. Thanks for the interest tho!
