VS2022? Is it worth it

Post by jdowney »

I have been an annual user and purchaser since the Ulead days; however, I did not purchase VS2019 or VS2020 Ultimate. Too buggy... So I will stick with VS2018 Ultimate until something better comes along... Is that VS2022? What do you think...

Also does anyone have a better deal than 35% off...

Thank you
Jeff

I just got my first popup ad after I closed VS 2021. And it had a 45% saving with Ultimate 2022 going for NZ$79 which is around US$53; instead of full price of NZ$149 or US$101.

What I like is the fact that I've disabled ALL messaging for Paint Shop Pro and VideoStudio. Still... they come.

For the time being, stay with VS 2018 which is reliable, wait and see what problems VS 2022 has

In the world of IT, consultants often advise wait for the first service pack before doing anything with a new program. It was advice mainly aimed at windows, but it's equally valid for individual applications, like CVS 2022. On past experience, the 1st service pack for 2022 may be out early May 22. If you can bring yourself to stomach the bubble gum girl.
