Does this attached jpg error message mean anything to any of you. After receiving this all further attempts at uninstalling and reinstalling Videostudio 2022 Ultimate have failed.
I have contacted support already. I can outline the many steps and attempts I have made and will do so upon request, but I am hoping someone might have some knowledge of what to do.

(BTW: I have been able to install Videostudio 2020 Ultimate with no problems during all this... the problem seems to be limited to the installation of Videostudio 2022 Ultimate).

Can you please zip and share the log files from here:
C:\ProgramData\VideoStudio Log Files\VS2022
If you've tried multiple times, there may be many folders. Probably not necessary to zip them all, in case the file becomes too big to share here.
You can also send them to me as a private message.

Easiest way to combat this would be to run the cleanup tool -- https://forum.corel.com/download/file.php?id=16228
I would suggest running it twice to verify all the entries on the right are removed. If you wind up seeing entries on the second run of the applet, please raise a support ticket with Technical support and ask to be transferred to Level 2 and get Austin's attention.

Thanks for the replies. I just within the last half hour or so, have been able to MOSTLY remedy the situation. Before I attempted to install VS2022U I had installed and uninstalled the trial. On a whim, I decided to install the trial again and that worked. So this time I used the install icon to install with the license number and NOT uninstall the trial. During the install process it successfully updated from trial version to ultimate version. So some how uninstalling the trial version must of caused the problem.
Above I said MOSTLY remedied: When I attempted to update the free 'packs' in the welcome screen almost all of them had the same problem. They would not install because they themselves were 'open'. In some of the cases I shut down VS 2022U and was able to complete the install. Some of them did not install at all and some showed they were installed but are not working properly. Example of the latter is Adorage Volume 9. It appears but clicking on individual choices yields 'Error! Can't load image file on a red screen. Too many examples to list them all. Others appear to work but no effect actually appears.

I seem to recall some users in much earlier versions reporting a similar problem with Adorage Vol 9. So perhaps you could do a search for Adorage Volume 9 on the Board to see what comes up.

unfortunately mine has same problem, only goes to splash screen. three install attempts used clean up tool, install used repair. Used Reveo uninstaller to remove all components. renamed file 25.0 but not luck.

I too have the same problem. I have tried 3 times, each time rebooting the computer and using the VS2022_Cleanup.exe to clear the old install before retrying.
The install progress bar stops about 12mm before the end and in one case I left it there for 2 hours all to no avail.
All or most of the files appear to have installed.
